He resided in Cape May, New Jersey and enlisted in the Army at Fort Dix on 3 Apr 1942.  His serial number was 32264237.   He attained the rank of Seargent. Discharge date was 17 Dec 1945.   He was born in Belleplain, New Jersey on 17 Nov 1908 to Alfred  and Elizabeth Helzer  Endicott 
He died 12 Aug 1986 in Somers Point, NJ.  At time of death he resided in Petersburg, NJ.  Burial is in Mount Pleasant Cenetery, Millville, New Jersey.

Obituary

Floyd C. Endicott, 77, of Old Tuckahoe Road, Petersburg died Tuesday in Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point.
 
A former resident of Belleplain, Mr. Endicott lived in Petersburg for the past 33 years.  He retired in 1976 as superintendent of the Belleplain State Forest after 45 years of service.
 
A charter member of the Belleplain Fire Company, he was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Petrella-Repici-Caprioni-Champion Post 6257, Belleplain, and the Tuckahoe American Legion.  Mr. Endicott was a life member of the Junior Mechanic Lodge, Stone Harbor.
 
He is survived by his wife, Ethel C,; a stepson, Norman W. Schenck Jr. of Petersburg; a sister, Mildred Endicott of Belleplain; a brother, John of Belleplain; two step-grandchildren and a great-step grandchild.
 
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Robert V. Hoffman Funeral Home, Leesburg.  Burial will be in Mr. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
